November 5-26, 2017 Trainings on “Improving Regional Development Funds” were held in Talas.
The training was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, District and Regional Development Funds, deputies of Aiyl Aimaks, representatives of NGOs and other interested parties. There were 28 participants in total.
At the training, a web portal on RDF was presented, on which participants gave their suggestions and recommendations for improvement. Proposals for improving the RDF, changes and additions to the Model Regulations “On the Formation of Regional Development Funds” were also discussed.
The participants also discussed environmental projects to be submitted by aiyl aimaks for the RDF. Participants noted that some regions are interested in submitting and implementing environmental projects in the regions through the DDF.
