Supporting Independent Civic Expertise
Public Foundation “Nash Vek” is an independent organization working in Kyrgyzstan since 2001. We monitor external assistance and major development projects, analyze the activities of international financial institutions, and promote transparency, accountability, sustainable development and civil society participation.
Today, “Nash Vek” is entering a new stage of development — moving from implementing individual projects towards strengthening the organization’s long-term institutional capacity.
Our Goal for 2026–2028
We are strengthening our professional team, analytical and digital tools, and expanding independent monitoring of development and external financing in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
Our work aims to:
- produce independent analysis and evidence on development and external financing;
- strengthen transparency and accountability of major development projects;
- promote meaningful civil society participation in decision-making;
- monitor the impact of external financing on public interests and sustainable development;
- use data and public oversight to promote systemic change.
Why Institutional Support Matters
Independent monitoring requires sustained professional and organizational capacity — a dedicated team, analytical work, digital tools, access to information, and the ability to engage consistently with government institutions, international financial institutions and civil society.
We therefore seek not only funding for individual activities, but also long-term institutional partnerships that enable the organization to maintain its independence, strengthen its expertise and work systematically towards lasting change.
We Are Open to Partnership
We welcome cooperation with foundations, international organizations and other partners interested in strengthening independent civic expertise, transparency and public accountability.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss long-term institutional partnership and support for the development of the organization.
