March 21-23, 2018 A regional meeting of the Central Asia-Caucasus network of NGOs of the ADB Forum is being held in Supara-Chunkurchak, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
On the first day, participants discussed CA&C projects in the field of energy. We presented country priorities in this direction and implemented projects in the energy sector. We discussed the policies of international financial institutions.
On March 22, 2018, participants discussed in detail the policies of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank “In the field of public information” and on the “Mechanism for influencing people affected by the project.” We developed comments, suggestions and recommendations for these two policies.
On March 23, there will be a Face-to-Face meeting with representatives and heads of departments of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank with Mr. Hamid Sharif, Head of Compliance, Efficiency and Integrity Group, Ms. Irene Bain, Senior Training and Knowledge Specialist, Mr. Yuangchang Sun, Head of Public Relations. At the meeting, representatives of CAiC CSOs will present specific recommendations to AIIB policies in the field of public information” and on the “Mechanism of influence on people affected by the project.”
