Representatives of the Our Century PF took part in the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2025 – MGoS organizing partners – from July 17, 2025 to July 23, 2025 at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, USA.
Participation was made possible thanks to the support of WMG.

In 2025, Kyrgyzstan presented the Voluntary National Review on the SDGs.
A representative of PF Our Century was chosen to represent the positions of civil society. Discussions were held with those who were aware of the topic and involved in this process.
Below is the text that was presented following the discussion and analysis of the VNR of the Kyrgyz Republic by representatives of civil society.

STATEMENT BY CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS
IN RESPONSE TO THE 2025 NATIONAL VOLUNTARY REVIEW OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Civil society welcomes the commitment of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Sustainable Development Goals and expresses gratitude for the preparation and presentation of the 2025 Voluntary National Review.
The review contains important information, but we note a lack of inclusiveness in its preparation, particularly with the participation of regional organizations, as well as those representing women, youth and people with disabilities. This reflects the overall situation with vulnerable groups’ access to services and the risks of leaving no one behind.
Weak gender-disaggregated data limit the ability to objectively analyze progress, especially in reducing inequality. Information on Goal 17.2 on official development assistance is under-reported, limiting the transparency of international cooperation. We are concerned about climate and food security, energy, and the protection of the rights of women and vulnerable groups in emergency situations.
We would like to highlight the situation of migrant women, especially those employed in the informal sector. Their labor rights remain insufficiently protected and economic inequality persists.
In this regard, civil society recommends:
1. Institutionalize the participation of civil society in all stages of the preparation and implementation of the VNR, taking into account vulnerable groups.
2. Publish disaggregated data.
3. Ensure transparent reporting on international aid and climate action.
4. Strengthen the protection of women’s labor rights and security in the digital space.
Please also consider:
– What steps are planned to make future reviews more inclusive?
– When will disaggregated data be available?
– How will climate and labor justice be ensured?
We are convinced that sustainable development requires openness, partnership and trust. Civil society is ready to be an active and reliable partner in this process.
Thank you for your attention!
